Who would want to travel in a global pandemic?? 

We live in Jamesville and we spent the entire month of April in Florida when our kids were remote learning.  If Mom and Dad are remote (or can be) and the kids are remote (or can be), why not spend some time in the Florida sun?

We decided to drive down, and it took us 18 hours door-to-door from Syracuse.  We had three drivers, so we did it all in one shot.  If you decide to break up the trip, then you have to spend one night in a hotel and then you are in Florida.

We decided to fly down a few weeks ago for another week.  Flights from Syracuse to the MCO and SFB airports in Orlando and Sanford are super cheap right now.  Allegiant Air has tickets as low as $54 per person (one way).

Once you are in Windsor Hills, if you are comfortable venturing out to the parks that's great.  Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld are all open with social distancing protocols in place.  If you're not comfortable with that, your family can relax in our private pool and hot-tub, and order all of your meals in. It's still nice to get out of the cold north.  If your children are learning remotely, we have a great Wi-Fi signal in our home.  Between remote school, and remote work, why not be in Florida?

We just returned from Windsor Hills and we had a great time.  All of the amenities are open. You'll have access to the water park, fitness center, tennis courts, basketball court, volleyball court, putting green, playgrounds, arcade room and clubhouse.

Of course, if something crazy happens with COVID and Florida shuts down, or air travel is suspended, we will provide a 100% refund.   We felt very safe in Florida the other week.  We can't control what others do, but we can make sure our own family followed all safety protocols and kept to ourselves, and we were just fine.
